Toronto Airport Terminal 1

It is the largest terminal in Toronto Airport and handles both domestic and international flights. It has the record to be among the largest buildings in the world by floor space.

Toronto Pearson Airport Terminal 1 is home of D, E, F boarding gates.

Some of the airlines that serve the airport are Air Canada and Emirates.

 

Inter-terminal transportation

 To transfer between terminals, passengers have at their disposal the LINK Train, which runs 24/7. It is free of use and wheelchair accessible. Frequency is of 4 minutes on peak hours and 8 minutes on off-peak hours.

Departures:

  • Terminal 1: T-1 Parking Garage (level 5)
  • Terminal 3: Inside Terminal 3 and the Sheraton Hotel pedestrian bridge.
  • Value Park Lot and Value Park Garage: Viscount Station.

The LINK Train connects as well as Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, Sheraton Hotel and the Value Park Lot (Viscount Station).

 

Levels

Toronto Airport Terminal 1 consists of the following levels:

Ground level: This is the before security and transportation level (hotel shuttles, public transport, parking) and lost and found.

Level 1: This is the Arrivals level. Services: Baggage claim area, interfaith chapel, travelers’ aid, currency exchange, oversized baggage, ATMs, information desks, Canada Border Service Agency.

Access to the taxi and limo stands.

US international arrivals and border services are housed here

Level 2: This is the Departures level. Services: Information counters, security screening, Canada Immigration and Customs, also US Customs and Waiver Office.

Access to all gates from here.

Level 3: This is the International check-in level and boarding area. Access to security check and boarding area.

 

Concourses

Toronto Airport Terminal 1 has 3 Concourses where the boarding gates are located:

  • Eastern Concourse: Boarding Gates D1-D12 and D20-D28.
  • South Concourse: Boarding Gates D31-D57 and F32-F36 & F51-F57.
  • Northwest Concourse: Boarding Gates F60-F81 and F82-F99.

Airport lounges

Toronto Airport Terminal 1 has at their passengers’ convenience the following lounges:

International Lounge: Location: Close to gate E77. Opening hours: 05:00 am to 10:00 pm (Wednesday and Friday), 05:00 am to 12:00 pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday).

Domestic Lounge: Location: Level 3, close to domestic security screening. Opening hours: 05:00 am to 10:30 pm.

Transborder Lounge: Location: By Gate F55-F57. Opening hours: 04:00 am to 8:30 pm.
