Pearson Airport Terminal 1

Toronto Airport Terminal 1 is the largest terminal in Toronto Airport and handles both domestic and international flights. It has the record to be among the largest buildings in the world by floor space.

Levels

Toronto Airport Terminal 1 consists of the following levels:

Ground level

Access to transportation

Passengers will find here access to ground transportation. 

Level 1

Arrivals level

This is the Arrivals level. Passengers will find the baggage claim area and several services available. 

Level 2

Departures level

This is the Departures level. Services: Information counters, security screening, Canada Immigration and Customs, also US Customs and Waiver Office, among others. 

Passengers will have access to all gates from here. The level consists of three concourses/areas: Concourse D, Concourse F and Concourse E. 

It contains 58 gates: D1, D3, D5, D7-D12, D20, D22, D24, D26, D28, D31–D45, D51, D53, D55, D57, F60–F63, F64A–F64B, F65, F66A–F66B, F/E67–F/E81, F59, F82-F83, and F84-F99.

Gates D and F are located in two separated long concourses. Gates numbered with E are located at the end of concourse F, in a semicircle area. 

Level 3

This is the International check-in level and boarding area. It has connection to parking areas too.

Distance inside the terminal

Distances in that terminal can be huge. Please, check walking times here: 

Walking times from TSA to gates: 

Time to E/F gates F61- E80 (central satellite): 2 to 11 minutes. 
Time to F82/F83 gates (right side): 3 minutes. 
Time to D gates(left side of the terminal): between 2 to 15 minutes.

Transfer between terminals

To transfer between terminals, passengers have at their disposal the LINK Train, which runs 24/7. It is free and wheelchair accessible. Frequency every 4 minutes on peak hours and every 8 minutes on off-peak hours.

Departures

- Terminal 1: T-1 Parking Garage (level 5)
- Terminal 3: Inside Terminal 3 and the Sheraton Hotel pedestrian bridge.
- Value Park Lot and Value Park Garage: Viscount Station.

The LINK Train connects Terminal 1, Terminal 3, Sheraton Hotel and the Value Park Lot (Viscount Station).
