Toronto Airport Terminal 3

The terminal 3 of Toronto Airport was opened in 1991 and continuously expanded (in 1997 and in the period 2004-2007).

Toronto Airport Terminal 3 serves both international and domestic flights.

The Terminal contains a Sheraton Hotel and a parking garage both connected with T1.

Boarding gates, A, B and C are hosted at Toronto Airport Terminal 3.

Some of the terminals using this terminal are Air Transat, Sunwing Airlines, Etihad Airways and WestJet.

Please, note that since June 2018, the Infield Terminal is used as an extension of Terminal 3. Arriving and Departing flights from the Infield Terminal may use the shuttle bus to or from Terminal 3.

 

Inter-terminal transportation

To transfer between terminals, passengers have at their disposal the LINK Train, which runs 24/7. It is free of use and wheelchair accessible. Frequency is of 4 minutes on peak hours and 8 minutes on off-peak hours.

 

Departures:

  • Terminal 1: T-1 Parking Garage (level 5)
  • Terminal 3: Inside Terminal 3 and the Sheraton Hotel pedestrian bridge.
  • Value Park Lot and Value Park Garage: Viscount Station.

The LINK Train connects as well as Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, Sheraton Hotel and the Value Park Lot (Viscount Station).

 

Levels

Toronto Airport Terminal 3 consists of the following levels:

Level 1: This is the Arrivals level. Find here the US Customs and Canada Immigration and Canada Border Services. Services: Lost and found, traveler’s aid, baggage claim areas and access to transportation.

Level 2: Departures and check-in level. Connect to both parking and Sheraton Hotel by this level and to the LINK Train.

Please, note that US check-in facilities have their own checkpoint.

From level 2 passengers can transfer to:

  • Domestic and international Departures (B Gates B14-B1)
  • International Departures (B and C Gates, B14-B26 and C30-C36)
  • US gates A6-A20 and A2-A5
  • To connect to D, E, F gates in Terminal 1, please board the LINK Train or otherwise, use the transfer tunnel straight to Gate D20
  • Access to WestJet Pier B gates (B1a – B1d, B2a, B2b, B3, B4, B5) from A Gates

At Terminal 3 there is a new retail area – Node C. Located in post-security, offers retail stores and further options at Arrivals. Plus, the so-called Eye in the Sky, consists of natural light skylight which extends to Departures and Arrivals.

Airport lounges

Toronto Airport Terminal 3 has some lounges at their passengers’ disposal:

Domestic / International lounge: Past gate B24. Opening hours: 05:00 am to 10:30 pm.

International / Domestic lounge: Across gate C32. Opening hours: 04:30 am to 01:00 am.

Transborder lounge: Close gate A10. Opening hours: 05:00 am to 08:30 pm
